——PART ONEORDERLY WAITING

Qingdao Jiaodong Airport is a major international airport handling up to 35 million passenger trips annually. Amidst such massive passenger traffic, smooth operations and orderly management within the airport become especially critical—particularly in addressing the noise and ensuring efficient flow of movement during peak hours.

China and Thailand have adopted a streamlined design, featuring clean lines and soothing color combinations to create a relaxed waiting environment. The seats are ergonomically designed, ensuring maximum comfort for passengers. Meanwhile, the neat and orderly arrangement enhances the efficient use of space.

China-Thailand utilizes furniture configurations that converge in lines and seamlessly integrate into the space, creating a harmonious and elegantly flowing spatial aesthetic. Paired with serene and ethereal color tones, this approach perfectly complements the airport’s overall design plan, enhancing the orderly flow within the environment while fostering a tranquil and organized atmosphere for passengers—ultimately elevating their satisfaction!

——PART TWOENJOY Stress Relief

In traditional perception, passengers at airports are merely transient travelers who don’t need to linger for long. As a result, conventional airport waiting areas haven’t taken into account the needs of travelers spending extended time there, making it difficult to ensure comfort—and even less attention has been paid to accommodating office-related requirements. Yet with the arrival of the information age, the concept of fragmented time is revolutionizing our traditional understanding of how we manage and utilize our schedules!

Starting from the modular design concept, China-Thailand's inherent modularity and scalability effortlessly enable the creation of flexible, shared workspaces in airport lounges (or other waiting areas).

When it comes to color coordination, China-Thailand carefully considered the airport's overall style and ambiance. We selected hues that complement the terminal’s design, primarily opting for subtle, elegant tones like gray and white, complemented by hints of wood tones and warm accents, creating a serene yet inviting atmosphere. This thoughtful color palette not only ensures the furniture harmonizes seamlessly with the surrounding environment but also enhances passengers' visual experience with its meticulous attention to detail.

Allow passengers in the midst of their journey to have more choices—no need to feel anxious or worry about wasted time when flights are delayed. Simply by opening their laptops, they can work as comfortably as if they were in a cozy café, blurring the lines between airport halls and co-working spaces, making airport-based office work a reality!
